    NewcrestImage is a premier company in the hospitality space that designs, builds and operates state-of-the-art hotels for the most renowned brands in the industry.  We are a trendsetting company that is acutely focused on culture and that strives to “genuinely care for people so their lives are enriched.”  We are currently looking for a Staff Accountant that will be responsible for the accounting and analytical tasks related to the efficient maintenance and processing of hotel financial statements.





    In terms of key responsibilities, first and foremost and just like every other position within our company, this role will advance NewcrestImage’s core values of People come First, Communication is Knowledge, Giving is Fun, Experiences are Memorable and Response-Ability is Ours.  While this position will be strategic, the ideal candidate must be able and willing to be “hands-on.”  In addition, some of the key responsibilities of the role are as follows:


    • General ledger accounting according to GAAP.
    • Account reconciliations, including cash and credit card bank reconciliations.
    • Financial and statistical reporting, including monthly financial package, for multiple properties.
    • Review daily revenue transmissions from hotels for accuracy.
    • Review invoices and accruals for proper recording.
    • Monthly review of balance sheet reconciliations.
    • Management of hotels' cash flow and monitoring of hotel disbursements.
    • Analysis of financial statements, along with timely and accurate responses to various requests for explanations.
    • Training of new Managers on accounting procedures for assigned properties.
    • Complete understanding of occupancy, sales and use taxes and exemption requirements by state.
    • Think proactively to prevent and minimize urgent issues that commonly arise in the hospitality industry, specifically your assigned hotels.
    • Assist in maintaining and promoting the General Manager accounting training program.
    • Additional duties as assigned by management.





    One to three years prior accounting experience, previous work experience on an integrated accounting system, good Excel knowledge. Knowledge of MS Dynamics and/or Ignite is a plus. Bachelor degree is preferred.
