NewcrestImage is a premier company in the hospitality space that designs, builds and operates state-of-the-art hotels for the most renowned brands in the industry.  We are a trendsetting company that is acutely focused on culture and that strives to “genuinely care for people so their lives are enriched.”  We are currently looking for an Interior Designer that possesses the ability to “stay ahead of the curve” and that can effectively partner with our Development and Construction teams.


In terms of key responsibilities, first and foremost and just like every other position within our company, this role will advance NewcrestImage’s core values of People come First, Communication is Knowledge, Giving is Fun, Experiences are Memorable and Response-Ability is Ours. 


Additionally, this position will oversee all phases of interior design, from sourcing, to selection, to procurement, to installation.  This individual will manage external teams and continually evaluate workloads, ensure project timelines are on track and within budget, and ensure all specifications are met.  This position will determine space requirements, specify decorative, furniture and fixture requirements and pay special attention to items such as lighting.  The constant goal will be to anticipate guest desires, conceptualize new concepts, and design spaces that exceed brand standards and provide a unique and exceptional guest experience.


While not an exhaustive list, a few of the qualifications are as follows:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design preferred
  • Experience with evolving interior design concepts
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experience drafting preliminary to final design models
  • Working experience with AutoCAD, 3D modeling, etc.
  • Exceptional project management skills and extremely savvy with relevant technologies
  • Deep understanding of all phases of the interior design process
  • Experience supervising on-site progress
  • Ability to effectively partner with architecture and construction teams
  • Experience in the hospitality space preferred
  • Ability to make good decisions in a timely manner and based upon a mixture of analysis, experience and judgment
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a consultative instinct
  • Results-oriented with a proven track record of delivering
