NewcrestImage is a premier company in the hospitality space that designs, builds and operates state-of-the-art hotels for the most renowned brands in the industry.  We are a trendsetting company that is acutely focused on culture and that strives to “genuinely care for people so their lives are enriched.” We are currently looking for a strong Manager of Procurement that will be responsible for the sourcing and procurement for various categories of direct and indirect spend. The primary focus of this position will be procuring goods and services for the entire portfolio of hotels in a manner that reduces costs and increase quality.



In terms of key responsibilities, first and foremost and just like every other position within our company, this role will advance NewcrestImage’s core values of People come First, Communication is Knowledge, Giving is Fun, Experiences are Memorable and Response-Ability is Ours. While this position will be strategic, the ideal candidate must be able and willing to be “hands-on.” In addition, some of the key responsibilities of the role are as follows:


  • Standardize procurement processes, controls, associated technologies, etc. and ensure that business objectives are met
  • Ensure that the storage rooms at every property are organized and configured in a way that allows for effective management of inventory levels
  • Strategically leverage buying power, scope, size and spend to drive cost savings and increase value
  • Manage RFP/RFI processes, vet and select partners, establish payment terms, negotiate contracts and purchase goods and services
  • Ensure current providers are being leveraged to the full extent, any discounts are being recognized and that the properties are not procuring goods and services outside of established providers
  • Manage supplier-buyer relationships, ensure all service levels, KPIs and terms are achieved and maximize performance of suppliers
  • Ensure perpetual minimum/maximum inventory levels are being maintained and take appropriate action as needed
  • Develop various cost models and conduct analysis of spend in various categories
  • Identify cost savings related to distribution and supply chains
  • Serve as a key input in regards to the budget and provide ongoing support


While not an exhaustive list, a few of the qualifications are as follows:


  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Experience in the hospitality space required
  • Experience in the procurement space
  • Strong contract negotiation experience
  • Understanding of distribution and supply chains
  • Strong business acumen, problem solving, and analytical skills
  • Experience sourcing and procuring in direct and indirect categories
  • Exceptional project management skills and extremely savvy with relevant technologies
  • Ability to make good decisions in a timely manner and based upon a mixture of analysis, experience and judgment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Results-oriented with a proven track record of delivering
  • Ability to quickly build trust and credibility
  • Strong initiative and influence skills
  • Hospitality experience and F&B experience preferred
