To support continued growth, we are looking for a strong Sales Manager that will be responsible for overseeing all sales strategies for our Holiday Inn Express Hotel in Grapevine.  In terms of key responsibilities, first and foremost and just like every other position within our company, this role will advance NewcrestImage’s core values of People come First, Communication is Knowledge, Giving is Fun, Experiences are Memorable and Response-Ability is Ours. While this position will be strategic, the ideal candidate must be able and willing to be “hands-on.”  This dynamic individual must have a strong desire to be heavily involved in the local community efforts.

Responsibilities

Revenue:

 

Sales & Marketing: Prepare and implement the hotel’s annual Sales and Marketing Plan, make sales calls to key accounts and potential clients, and capitalize on all revenue opportunities.

 

Financial: Aggressively pursue revenue goals and effectively utilize yield management and revenue maximization tools.

 

Community Involvement:

 

Ensure good standing in the community by developing and maintaining relationships with Chamber of Commerce, Convention and Visitors Bureau, other hotels, local schools, local government and other community and civic organizations.

 

Quality:

 

Guest Service: Work closely with the Front Office and Housekeeping teams to ensure the hotel meets or exceeds NewcrestImage and Brand Standards for Guest Satisfaction.

 

Leadership:

 

Leading: Motivate, coach, and train team members, set goals and hold team members accountable, and provide feedback, rewards, and recognition.

 

Work Ethic: Demonstrate a high level of integrity, take ownership of personal and team actions, communicate effectively, promote collaboration, nurture a positive, professional work environment, and adhere to the Company’s policies and procedures.

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS: 

 

4-year College Degree, or 4 years actual hospitality sales experience

Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing

Willing to travel and must possess a valid driver's license

 

OPTIMUM ATTRIBUTES:

 

Willing to take responsiblity and accountability for the team

Well-groomed and professional in appearance

Willing to work on weekends and holidays if required

Effective communication skills
