NewcrestImage is a premier company in the hospitality space that designs, builds and operates state-of-the-art hotels for the most renowned brands in the industry.  We are a trendsetting company that is acutely focused on culture and that strives to “genuinely care for people so their lives are enriched.”  We are currently looking for a strong Associate of Acquisitions & Development that will be responsible for the creation of attractive investor packages.  This role will support the Development Team’s goal of acquiring and developing superior lifestyle hotels by researching markets, underwriting potential projects, managing the transaction process, and executing pre-development services.

In addition, some of the key responsibilities of the role are as follows:

  • Help develop and refine internal tools to assess opportunities as well as learning how to leverage existing resources (STR, PKF Hotel Horizons, Lodging Econometrics, etc.)
  • Develop and present investment decks aimed at investors, banks, and stakeholders in projects
  • Perform market specific research on an as needed basis
  • Develop planning and project feasibility analyses
  • Identify sites
  • Supporting closing activities
  • Manage entitlement process
  • Craft responses to RFP’s
  • Support VP and Director in acquisition and development efforts to source, execute, negotiate, underwrite, and structure deals
  • Generate competitive set analyses, preliminary budgets, proformas



  • Strong analytical and computer skills
    • Demonstrated ability in Microsoft Excel
    • Demonstrated ability in Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
  • Basic understanding of capital markets
  • Understanding of return analyses (IRR, ROI, DCF, etc.)
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects at once
  • Previous experience in hotel operations or feasibility
  • Ability to travel up to 20%
  • Understanding of the hotel industry and marketplace
  • Bachelor’s Degree (MSRE or MBA Preferred)
  • 1-3 years’ experience in hotel operations or feasibility
